Health and Safety
We take safety seriously. Our success in the construction industry depends on having strong policies, leading practises and effective programs. Kowal Construction's commitment to continuous improvement is a reflection of our culture, our values and the way we do business. Our goal is zero accidents and injuries.
Our Safety and Accident Prevention Program is administered and managed by our full-time Safety and Compliance Manager. All employees and sub-contractors are required to participate in our Program.
Kowal Construction has a Certificate of Recognition in place through the Alberta Construction Safety Association and the Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association. We provide all necessary training, tools and equipment for personal health and safety, to keep with and exceed the standards set by the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act.
The diverse nature of services provided by Kowal Construction requires a wide variety of site and job specific Health and Safety protocols. When the completion of a project requires specific or unique health and safety considerations, our experienced project managers and Safety and Compliance Manager will work with our Client's representatives to assess and create protocols that satisfy the Health and Safety requirements for the project.
